Behavioral Management Strategy:
In the classroom, as a method of controlling the volume of the class, we will be using the Red/Yellow/Green light strategy.
· RED Light – silently working, listening, focusing; teacher says, “voices” & students say,” Off”
· YELLOW Light – whispering while working collaboratively in pairs and/or groups
· GREEN Light – talking with classmates to accomplish a task
· 1st warning - verbal/non-verbal warning
· 2nd Warning – physical separation from other students
· 3rd Warning – teacher/student conference
· 4th Warning – call to the parent
· 5th Warning - referral to administration
